AMANDA
Hi I am Amanda and I lead the wonderful team here at Indigo Rye. My role is all about making sure your experience with us is warm, seamless and truly memorable.
With over 20 years of experience in customer service at British Airways, people have always been at the heart of what I do. I’ve brought that same passion for care, attention to detail and personal connection into every part of the Indigorye experience.
My goal is simple: to make you feel welcome, comfortable, and completely at home.

Siani
I have been a team member since June 2021. I love being part of the Rye family and grateful for such a lovely clientele who I have had the pleasure of getting to know through their salon visits. I enjoy spending time with family and loved ones, I enjoy a challenge whether that’s running a half marathon or correcting someone’s hair. I have over 14 years experience in colour and cutting and love being able to make people feel good about themselves. Over the years I have enhanced my training in the colour world and have had the privilege of completing all the Ambassador courses to enhance my knowledge and techniques and share this knowledge with our aspiring colourist’s on training nights.

Kaia
Hi I’m Kaia and been part of the Indigo Rye family since 2021. Many people know me as the loud and talkative girl which Is true as I could talk to a brick wall if I wanted to! I got a distinction in my level 2 NVQ and have qualified in the application of hair extensions as well as still learning about colour. My favourite part about my job is styling and I love, love, love blow drying, curling and any sort of styling. I can't wait to see you all and make you feel gorgeous.
Love Kaia

Becky
Hey I’m Becky, I've been part of the Rye team since July 2019. My expertise lies in colour, extensions, and bridal/prom hairstyles. I’ve had the opportunity to enhance my skills through the Wella Colour Craft Essentials course and the Wella Perfect Colour Choice course. I particularly enjoy creating balayages, working with blondes, and styling hair. I can't wait to see you soon! x

Gail
Hi I’m Gail – a style director at Indigo Rye since 2003, I run our training academy expecting a high standard of work from our apprentices. My various pastimes have included parachuting, wing walking, taxidermy, life modelling, dry stone walling, giving free haircuts to homeless people. I unwind with acupuncture, massage, quiz pages and Cadburys chocolate! I find all people so interesting as cutting is my passion, their hair even more so. I’d love to meet you and your hair.

Nicola
I’m Nicola. I am a Creative Director in Caversham. I have been part of this talented team since 2007 and specialise in cutting and styling. I take pride in my craft and have a keen eye for detail and take pleasure in making people feel good about themselves. I have taken part in salon photo shoots and been a semi finalist in the Wella Trend vision awards as well as attending courses with Vidal Sassoon, Wella, Kevin Murphy and GHD which have broadened my skillset. When I am not in the salon I love spending quality time with my son, socialising with friends and family, travelling, swimming and enjoy a good Netflix series.

Riley
I’ve been part of the salon family for over 12 years, and I’m truly passionate about all things colour. I chose to specialise in colour because I love creating signature transformations that make my clients look and feel amazing.
Whether it’s maintaining your root colour, adding natural highlights (my personal favourite!), or going bold with fashion shades—I love it all. There’s something special about finding the perfect colour that complements your unique style and personality.
Outside the salon, I’m a proud mum to a beautiful daughter. We love spending time together, especially visiting local farms—she’s a big animal lover!
I genuinely enjoy catching up with my regular clients and always look forward to meeting new ones. If you’re thinking about a colour change, or simply want to embrace your natural look, I’d love to help. Pop in for a chat and we can work together to create something just right for you.

Rachel
Hi I’m Rachel and have been with Indigo Rye since 2006 when I was a school leaver at 16. I am a big cat lover and have a fur baby called Betty, and I am also a first time Mum to my boy Zachary. In my spare time I enjoy walking, swimming, painting and reading. In 2020 I was a regional finalist in the Wella Trend Vision Craft Artist category, an achievement I am very proud of. My favourite thing about hairdressing is making people feel good about themselves and I really enjoy being creative. I also consider myself a real people person, so a good chin wag is always welcome! I look forward to seeing you.

Sarah
I have over 14 years of experience in the industry I love bringing my expertise and passion to our salon team. Charlie
I’ve been with Indigo Rye for 17 years now with a few maternity breaks in between. I love personalising every cut whether it’s a subtle change or a big transformation so you leave feeling relaxed refreshed and most importantly confident and I look forward to seeing you in the chair.

Ariana
I have been at the salon since 2018.
My favourite thing to do, is to repair damaged hair with making it healthy again with my knowledge of products and my expertise in cutting And I do love doing blow dries !
Before qualifying at indigorye, I achieved a GCSE in hair and beauty - to learn the science behind the hair and how it works , I then continued my education in the science of hair at college while at indigorye.
I want you to know I will never judge you or your hair and I will always do my best to make you feel beautiful. Lets work together and discuss what suits you, your hair and your lifestyle.
Aside from the salon I love to go to the gym and have pamper days, alongside looking after my pet fish and cat.

James
I started my hairdressing career in 2003 with Toni & Guy. After three years as an apprentice I spent 3 months honing my skills under British Hairdresser of the Year Cos Sakkas at their Tottenham Court Road Academy and gained my hairdressing diploma in advanced cutting.
I went on to work in the fashion industry, working behind the scenes at photoshoots and catwalk shows for Julian McDonald, The London School of Fashion and more.
For the last 20 years I have been salon based, enjoying the buzz of a busy atmosphere, meeting new people and building relationships with long term regular clients.
After taking a hiatus to travel the world, I rejoined Indigo Rye in 2023 and couldn’t be happier to be part of the salon family once again.
Outside of salon life I am a keen gym goer, cook and an avid fisherman, spending my free time outside at local lakes and rivers.
During your haircut with me I might even share some travel tips from around the world!

Wallingford
Beth
Hi I’m Beth, the manager of our wonderful Wallingford salon.
After taking a very extended mat leave (11 years to be precise!) I returned to my Rye family. I have been a self employed photographer and social media manager for the last seven years but realised I’m far too sociable to work alone and missed working alongside this special team. I really do get the best of both worlds here with being able to capture the team and the salons in all their glory.
In my spare time I am a full time taxi driver / cheerleader to my very energetic children who have me in a field of some sort at least 5 days a week! I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Emma
I’ve been working for Indigo Rye for 20 years in August. I enjoy spending time with my family and my 2 children. I enjoy eating out and going for walks with friends and family. Coming to work doesn’t feel like a normal job for me as I’ve worked with my clients and the rest of the team for so long. I love catching up with my clients and seeing how they are and their families. I’ve loved watching the younger team progress through training and grow in confidence. It’s amazing watching someone never picked up a pair of scissors to having a fully booked column.

Hannah
Team member since 2006, I mostly enjoy cooking, cleaning as boring as that sounds and spending time with my family and friends, especially in the sun. I have completed my Master Colour degree in 2011 and what I love most about working at Indigo Rye is the sociable atmosphere. I enjoy chatting and catching with my clients and getting to know new faces along with spending time with the team when I can. I have been hairdressing for over 20 years and love focussing on colour and all things technical. I am mum to 2 gorgeous girls who take up my time when I am not being creative at work and a French bulldog who I probably speak about too much!

Helen
I have been working for Indigo Rye since 2005. I successfully got through to the final of the L’oreal Colour Trophy. I love creating new and exciting colours, especially reds and coppers. When I am not in the salon I like to spend time with family and friends and enjoy reading and baking with my 2 beautiful girls. I really enjoy working at Indigo Rye chatting with my clients, old and new and working with the incredible team at the Wallingford salon.

I love making people feel amazing and making their hair as healthy as possible. I love the science behind the products and love getting the results. I don’t judge anyone and if I can advise and support you to deliver the best your hair deserves.

Bobby
I started my hairdressing career as an apprentice in 2006 at Indigo Rye and I have been cutting, colouring and styling across the globe ever since. I left the salon in 2011 to travel the world and begin session styling working with celebrities on music videos, short films, weddings and fashion. I moved back to Wallingford and felt the pull to return to Indigo Rye and rejoined the team in 2023 and feel back at home.
